PRINCETON, N.J. — The Dow Jones News Fund offers free registration to the Native American Journalists Association conference, September 15 to 18 in Prior Lake, Minnesota. NAJA is meeting in conjunction with the Fourth Annual Conference on Native American Nutrition.

Linda Shockley, managing director of the News Fund, said, “We are pleased and happy to encourage aspiring Native American journalists by adding NAJA to the list of 2019 convention registrations we are providing.”

Full-time college sophomores, juniors, and seniors who want to pursue journalism careers are eligible to apply. Students must be available to attend the entire conference, the Fund is not providing housing or transportation. If selected, NAJA can help arrange travel and lodging.

Applicants must submit a resume, the name and contact information for a journalism reference and a 500-word essay to linda.shockley@dowjones.com.
